Position: We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate environmental health student to join our Public and Environmental Health team. Reporting to the Coordinator Public and Environmental Health, this position will develop skills to provide professional environmental health services within the Public and Environmental Health section by administering Council's environmental health, regulatory and enforcement functions to meet statutory and community needs.
As a cadet, you will be required to be in your final year or penultimate / second final year of tertiary qualifications in Environmental Health or a related field. You will be expected to study online; however, leave is granted to attend compulsory in-person course requirements (e.g., residential schools and exams).

- An annual salary that is paid in line with the Local Government (State) Award, dependent upon your age and when you completed high school (plus 11.5% superannuation).
- 4 weeks annual leave and additional time off to attend compulsory in-person course requirements.
