About the roleBased in Tatura in regional Victoria, you'll join the Finance team in our Business and Finance division. Reporting to the Management Accounting Manager, this role is responsible for the financial support of each business area, including the future forecasting of key activities such as maintenance, capital planning and key operating cost drivers. This will include adding value to the financial interpretation and reporting of results. It will ensure the business-partnering model supports the business with all financial analysis.
As part of the wider Business Partner team, the Finance Business Analyst will help the finance team to deliver the following:
Month end financial capital reportingIdentify data trends and improvement opportunitiesDevelopment of various modelling to enable the business to enhance decision making ability and will feed into budgeting and forecastingProvide detailed financial analysis that will assist with the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts including five year Corporate Plan financial forecasts and Price Submission financial forecastsFinancial support and advice to customer groups supporting them to understand their financial results, budgets and forecastsWhat do you need?Mandatory – Bachelor in Accounting or other relevant Business or Commerce degreeDesired – Relevant experience in related rolesDesired – Full CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA status, with post qualification experienceExperience in financial and general business analysisDemonstrated experience collaborating across various groups and functionsDemonstrated experience interpreting, explaining and driving finance performanceExperience providing management reporting to support the operational performance and strategic decisions by providing evidence-based dataSense of urgency and accountability to meet all reporting and compliance deadlinesAdaptable and flexibleAgile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our organisation where people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
