Your key roles and responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of Japanese dishes, following our standardized recipes and maintaining high-quality standards. Handle food ingredients with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and labeling. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Collaborate effectively with the entire kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Assist in monitoring inventory levels, restocking supplies, and reporting any shortages or discrepancies. Follow kitchen procedures, including portion control, plating, and presentation, to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment. Minimum Requirements: Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or similar environment is preferred. Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and cooking techniques is a plus, but not mandatory. We are willing to provide training for candidates with a strong interest in Japanese cuisine. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
