The company is seeking a Back End Engineer - Golang with relevant experience to join the development team in Sydney. Experience / Skills BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience Experience working with at least one modern Back End Development using Golang Experience building REST APIs with Golang and/or NodeJS Experience developing microservice infrastructure is ideal Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, developing large software systems, and/or security software development Previous 'start-up' or 'scale-up' experience is favourable Job Duties and Expectations Take operational responsibility for the services and code base that you will develop You are• Between 3 and 5 years' experience in software developing Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend coding best practices Familiar with Docker, Postman, GitLab, AWS is favourable. You are a lifelong learner. You're self-taught and continuously learning. You areinterested in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise You are experienced working with modern infrastructure and tools You are comfortable running your software in Linux environments You know and care about sound engineering practices like continuous delivery, defensiveprogramming and automated testing You're familiar with designing and building distributed and scalable systems An abundance of ambition and motivation to grow the company and compete with thebig players in the industry.
