About the Role
The B2B Development Lead role will lead the onboarding and continuous improvement of our B2B Ecommerce Platform and oversee the transition off our legacy platform for our Wholesale and Uniforms customers and development teams.
You will play an important role in the step change of Workwear Group as we aim to simplify our processes, connect better with our customers, and grow and expand our core Digital Commerce offering used by Australia's leading brands.
What you'll be doing
Operational technical support for the customers who get onboarded on our B2B ecommerce platform. Support the sunsetting of our outgoing ecommerce platform and help to ensure its integrity throughout the transition period. Build a high-performing team to ensure our ecommerce meets and exceeds evolving customer expectations and needs. Provide guidance and input on modern development best practices, both to your own team and other internal teams as required. Designing, developing, testing, and debugging code that has customer experience front of mind. Interacting with and making requests to internal and external APIs. Participate in team agile ceremonies as part of the regular delivery lifecycle. Ensure resource estimates are accurate. Manage delivery of build phases to agreed timelines. Manage BAU and continuous improvement activity. Ensure completion of technical documentation. Identify opportunities for process rationalization/improvement. Ensure corporate standards are adhered to. Act as an escalation point for the development team. Who we're looking for

Have knowledge and experience in digital platforms and applications - working with SAP Commerce (Hybris) is highly advantageous. Experience in transitioning and integrating digital platforms with modern and legacy internal and external applications (ERP). Proficiency in CSS, Java Spring Framework, Solr, AzureSQL/MySQL, Angular Framework. Minimum of 5 years software engineering. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. Strong knowledge of modern software development methodologies, tools, and processes. Awareness of basic design principles: symmetry, consistency, typography, colour palette, style guides.
