Azure Software Developer
Start Date: 6 January 2024
Length: 6 months + 12-month extension
Location of work: ACT, NSW, QLD or VIC
Role Responsibilities: Providing senior development expertise in the development, maintenance and security uplift of the client's application suite in a Microsoft Azure environment. Developing technical documentation and architecture artefacts throughout the application development lifecycle. Improve application logging, performance and monitoring. Lead test driven development and review of unit tests. Providing mentoring and guidance to other developers and applications support team. Contributing and providing continuous improvement and identifying, evaluating and managing risk in the delivery of project outcomes. Promoting workplace safety, equity and diversity and participative management and environmental management practices in the workplace. Key Experience: Experience with C#, .NET Core, Angular, React, React Native, Next.js, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript and Jquery. Solid experience with Azure (Azure cloud services specifically Azure Functions, App Services, Blob Storage, etc.), Azure integrations services including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Event Grid, Azure Service Bus and Azure API Management. Experience in application modernisation of older .NET Applications to Cloud Native Services. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, such as authentication, authorization, encryption, and security protocols. DevOps practices such as CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code and monitoring. Understanding of Azure B2C Identity and Access Management. Microsoft platforms and productivity tools including MS Power Platform. SQL Server and Azure SQL including data extractions and reporting in SSRS and Power BI. Strong understanding of architectural patterns, TDD, BDD and test automation. Who is Arazai:
