Milestone IT have partnered with a leading Biotech organisation in Melbourne who are looking for an Azure Administrator to assist them in their cloud journey.

The position: As an Azure Cloud Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Azure-based cloud environment.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our cloud infrastructure.
This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to staying current with the latest cloud trends and technologies.
The role is a contract role and our client is open to discussing a suitable daily rate!!
Key Responsibilities: Cloud Architecture and Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and establish architecture best practices and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards. Identity and Access Management (IAM): Strengthen identity and access controls within Azure Active Directory, employing multi-factor authentication, conditional access policies, and role-based access controls (RBAC). Implement just-in-time access and privilege escalation monitoring to enhance IAM security. Microsoft 365 and Collaboration Tools: Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and other collaboration tools. Ensure seamless integration and collaboration across the digital workspace. Dynamics and Business Applications: Utilise expertise in Dynamics 365 to collaborate on design and implementation of solutions that align with business requirements. Work with business stakeholders to understand and address their needs through Dynamics and other business applications. Power Platform Integration: Manage the Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate, assist to create custom solutions, and automate business processes. Integrate Power Platform components with other Microsoft technologies and on-premise data sources for a comprehensive business solutions. Implement and manage Azure Active Directory services, ensuring secure authentication and access control. Configure and maintain identity and access management policies for optimal security. Monitoring and Optimization: Establish and maintain effective monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the availability and performance of cloud-based services. Continuously optimize cloud resources, including those within the Power Platform, to enhance performance and reduce costs. Nice to have skills: Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement Infrastructure as Code principles to automate the deployment and management of cloud resources. Develop and maintain scripts and templates for infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
