Role: Systems Analyst Duration: 6 months contract with a view of extension Start: ASAP Project: Cloud Our Client is looking for a System Analyst with a minimum of 3-5 year's experience to work closely with a team of product owners, technology stakeholders and software developers to analyse and migrate on-premise systems to Azure Cloud platform.
Responsibilities: Provide the interface between business and technical analysis and understand detailed business process, translating to system design in conjunction with the applications architect and technical team; including domain modelling and other modelling techniques, especially in the context of relational databases; Analyse, design and assist with overall development of IT application systems; Develop and design functional specifications, produce deliverable related to the project(s) assigned and assist in post implementation support and system enhancements; Work on one or more complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and knowledge in a specific business area(s); Gather, compile and synthesize information with regards to technology processes or systems; Deliver services in minicomputer or client/server environments including the implementation and support of customer management, sales automation, financial and distribution systems; Create quality documentation required for the project life cycle based on Scrum/Agile experience of significantly complex systems; Utilise SQL, query and review raw data and present results in various summary forms; Develop Business User Requirements / User Story specifications and user procedures to a level of detail appropriate for the solution under development; Ensure the technical integrity of the design in accordance with the clients requirements.
Experience: Proven work experience as a senior Systems Analyst.
Hands on experience with software development and documentation.
Proven knowledge of business information systems.
Experience working in an Agile environment (e.g.
Agile, SCRUM, Kanban) Experience with a variety of technologies (e.g.
SQL, Server, Microsoft OS, .NET, Java, SOAP, Active Directory).
Ability to work and communicate with technical and non-technical teams.
Excellent analytical and problem solving strategies.
Experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
Experience with similar projects where existing applications have been transformed to run on a cloud platform.
Facilitating workshops/meetings with the Business Subject Matter Experts (SME) to capture the business requirements and relevant business processes for the proposed software solution.
Analysing and designing the corresponding system workflows and system interfaces for consideration and input into system design process.
Working and collaborating with technical leads and solution architects to draft the system specifications for input into the technical development team(s).
Providing on-going clarification of assigned technical tasks to the technical Development team Experience in delivering projects in Azure Cloud platform.
