About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Factory & Integration Developer to join our dynamic team on a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension and permanency. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and integration solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and other Azure services. You'll work on varied and challenging projects that will help fast-track your career and offer exposure to cutting-edge technologies. We are looking for someone with a passion for data and a drive for continuous improvement.
This role offers exciting opportunities to potentially move into a leadership position, where you'll have the chance to mentor junior team members and take on team management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and manage end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory for ETL/ELT processes.Implement data integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Functions, Event Grid, and Service Bus.Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to build scalable, high-performance workflows.Develop custom transformations using SQL and C# within ADF and Azure Functions.Optimise and monitor pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.Implement best practices for cloud security, data governance, and compliance.Set up event-driven architectures with Azure Event Grid and Service Bus.Provide mentorship to junior developers and contribute to their growth and development.Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.Required Skills and Experience: 3+ years of experience in Azure Data Factory and other Azure data integration services.Strong proficiency in SQL and C# for building custom data transformations.Experience with cloud-based data integration patterns, ETL/ELT processes, and event-driven architectures.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Why Join DataMTX?
