About the Role
As the Depot Manager you will be responsible for overseeing operations at the Dubbo location.
In this hands-on leadership role, you'll be responsible for managing the day to day operations, ensuring efficient delivery processes, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and fostering a positive team culture onsite.
Key Responsibilities of the position include:
Oversee daily depot operations, including receival of freight, sorting, loading and delivery scheduling.
Ensure compliance with NHVR Chain of Responsibility, and safety regulations.
Lead and motivate a team of drivers and operational staff to provide efficient service to a range of clients.
Manage resources effectively to achieve business requirements.
Coordinate fleet maintenance and repairs as required.
Plan delivery runs with drivers to ensure safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
Monitor KPI's and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
About You
Are you an experienced transport leader, looking to take the next step in your Career?
The successful candidate for this role will possess the following skills and experience:
Demonstrated experience in Transport, Logistics or warehouse operations (Freight experience will be highly regarded).
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Knowledge of NHVR and WHS responsibilities and regulations.
The ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Current Drivers Licence (Truck licence would be highly regarded) Forklift Ticket highly desirable.
