ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the CEO, you will have high responsibility for running day-to-day finance as well as supporting projects the business has on the go.
DUTIES Managing the preparation and presentation of financial statements and reports; Oversee and manage cashflow, liquidity requirements and drawdowns; Ownership and management over the business model; Management and oversight of treasury including ensuring adequate funding available to meet the group's obligations; Project work including conducting due diligence and preparing financial models; Monitor and manage the company's financial risk; Liaison with investors and lenders; Statutory reporting and tax management for the company with the support of the external accounting advisor; Represent the company externally on financial matters; Plenty of ad hoc work and finance tasks as requested by the CEO. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE CA / CPA qualified; Degree in finance, accounting or related discipline; You must have experience in the credit and lending space; Treasury experience critical; Expert technical accounting skills is a must; Expert financial modelling skills, in particular in the lending space; Ability to manage Risks & Opportunities and mitigation strategies for risk, including process and controls; Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment (fintech experience highly beneficial); You must be adaptable and pro-active, wanting to have an impact but willing to get down into the detail; Hands-on is critical; you will be the sole Finance employee in the business; Culture fit is critical - young, buzzing & fast-paced environment.
