What you'll do: The Avocado Farm Manager will lead the farming activities on Costa's avocado plantings within the Riverland Region, including both conventional and substrate (hydroponic) production. Your primary goal will be to produce the highest possible yield and quality of fruit. This hands-on role involves overseeing farm operations and continuous improvement of agronomic practices. This is a senior management role overseeing large-scale, modern properties within a corporate environment. What you'll bring to the role: Five plus years in managing avocado farms or other permanent tree crops. Experience in agronomy and substrate/hydroponic horticulture is preferred. Degree or Diploma in Agriculture/Horticulture or related discipline. Excellent problem-solving, time management, leadership, and communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
