With extensive experience in operations, training and helicopter maintenance, our staff are some of the most highly experienced and well-trained aviation professionals in the country.Toll operates the Toll Ambulance Rescue Helicopter Service on behalf of NSW Health for the NSW and ACT communities.Toll has an expanding Defense aviation support portfolio including maintenance and flight operations in support of ADF capability.Job DescriptionWe have a unique opportunity to join Toll Group in our Helicopters business as an Aviation Stores Logistics Officer based in Bankstown. The Aviation Stores Logistics Officer will be responsible for the Supply Chain, Stores and Logistics of Toll Helicopters Equipment, Spare Parts and Consumable inventory. This function will support the safety and availability of the Toll Helicopters fleet of aircraft by pre-locating equipment and spares at various locations for use. This role will be on a shift schedule, working 8 days on and 6 days off.Manage the timely actions of the Toll Helicopters Supply Chain including Aviation and commercial stores, Logistics of Equipment, Spare Parts and Consumable inventory to ensure Helicopter availability is maximised and records are accurate.Self-supervise and bring to the attention of the relevant maintenance manager any non-compliance with Toll Helicopter Policy and Procedure issues.Ensure any maintenance requiring specialist services is carried out by suitably qualified suppliers.Complete the documentation records correctly.Show initiative, persistence and continuous improvement in all processes.Knowledge of CASA and WHS regulatory requirements & processes as they pertain to aircraft and safety.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:Good communication and conflict resolution skills.Good technology skills to operate the company ERP system.Medical fitness to lift and move heavy inventory items, and work in confined spaces and at heights around aircraft and in vehicles.Attention to detail in all work (this work is responsible for public safety) and a highly organized and systematic approach.A trade background is desired.Ability to work effectively and flexibly within available time.Previous experience working within a warehouse environment is desired.A valid forklift license is desired.What moves you?At Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
