About The Role Journey Beyond aviation operations consist of West Coast Air Services (WCAS) and Kimberley Air Maintenance (KAM) as part of Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures and Spirit Aviation as part of our Outback Spirit business. The Aviation Fleet & Stores Manager is responsible for managing the continuing airworthiness of the aircraft within WCAS and Spirit Aviation including Cessna 208 Floatplanes/Land planes and smaller piston aircraft, in conjunction with the Chief Aviation Engineer of KAM. This position also has responsibility over the purchasing, cataloguing and managing of aviation stores and parts. This position is based in Broome, Western Australia and is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key responsibilities include: Ensuring that the availability of serviceable aircraft for the daily flight schedule is achieved through an effective fleet maintenance management programEnsuring that defects or unscheduled maintenance are rectified appropriately, conducting further investigations if requiredEnsuring that there is a robust process in place for updating aircraft records after each maintenance task or inspectionManaging and storing of spare parts in accordance with CASA regulatory requirements and KAM instructionsAbout You Your success in this role will be achieved through:
