The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Finance Officer to join our team full-time. This is a key role where you will be responsible for Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), End-of-Month (EOM) functions, and NDIS-related invoicing and reconciliations. Reporting to the Director and working closely with the Operations Manager alongside other key team members, you will play an integral part in maintaining our financial operations and compliance while contributing to process improvements as we grow.
Your Responsibilities: Manage AP and AR processes, including NDIS-specific invoicing and reconciliation. Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure compliance with NDIS requirements. Perform EOM reconciliations, financial statements, GL, and BAS preparation. Collaborate with Payroll and Rostering officers, providing payroll assistance when required. Contribute to compliance, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Prepare regular financial reports as needed. About You
You are an experienced Finance Officer with a strong background in AP, AR, and EOM processes, ideally within the NDIS sector.
You're a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking to develop your career in an organisation that values your contribution.
You will have: Diploma in Accounting, Business, or Commerce (minimum). 1+ years of full end-to-end AP and AR experience in a NDIS organisation. EOM and GL reconciliation experience, including BAS preparation. Familiarity with Xero and KeyPay / PayCat systems. High-level communication, organisation, and time-management skills. NDIS Worker Screening and PRODA account (or willingness to obtain). Strong attention to detail and confidentiality. Why Join Us?
