About The Role This position sits within the systems team, responsible for developing opportunities in the corporate, government, and education spaces, working with integrators and end customers.
The team is structured with BDMs (this role) who identify and drive new opportunities/business growth and ADMs who work in partnership with integrators in a solutions-focused manner to fulfill projects and manage ongoing relationships.
Based in Melbourne, reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for the states of VIC, TAS, SA, and WA , working with various stakeholders to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue and market share in key vertical markets and territories.
This involves identifying new distribution channels and potential opportunities and creating and nurturing relationships with current and potential clients.
You will also identify, develop, and manage trends within the nominated vertical markets, including making recommendations about the introduction and development of new services, solutions, products, and distribution channels.
Regularly contact and meet with clients, presenting products or solutions that meet their current and predicted future needs.
Manage key end-user and influencer relationships by coordinating and providing value-add services like design, proof-of-concept demonstrations, and after-sales support.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop proposals and designs that reflect clients' needs, concerns, and objectives.
Nurture relationships with relevant suppliers to ensure technical knowledge on all technological, operational, and commercial activities relevant to the nominated vertical market remains current.
About You A strong B2B sales background.
A proven track record of growing sales revenue by identifying and securing new opportunities.
Relevant experience in AV or a related technical product range.
This role would potentially suit someone with AV technical experience.
Strong experience working with integrators, consultants, and technicians, providing appropriate technical acumen.
Intangible qualities: a clear communicator, a team player, and able to work with stakeholders of all levels.
Flexibility to travel interstate occasionally and to meet customers locally on a regular basis.
