Negotiable hourly rate Whitsunday's location Ongoing factory training provided Our client is seeking a fully qualified Automotive Technician to join their family-owned dealership group in the Whitsundays region.Just inland from the coastal town of Bowen, the town of Proserpine in one of the most idyllic places on earth.Proserpine is the doorstep to the beautiful Whitsundays region!Duties of role: Diagnostics and repair of vehicles to manufacturers standards Provide advice in relation to mechanical condition of vehicles Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to service manager and record using in-house databases or reporting systems Provide guidance and training to apprentices Relay information about vehicles to guests in a professional manner Road test vehicles and conduct final assessments prior to delivery or return of vehicle to guest Comply with OH&S policies Essential skills and requirements:  Qualifications as an Automotive Technician (Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical) All brand experience considered.Minimum 3 years' experience post trade qualification Manual drivers licence Strong communication skills Customer service focused High attention to detail Full Australian working rights In return you will be rewarded with an excellent hourly rate, paying well above award wages, and the chance to join a great family-owned dealership, who have a passion to take care of their staff.Our client will also consider relocation assistance to the area.For further information on this role, please contact  Katie Cummins  on 0480 002 343 quoting reference number  AK7403 .Resumes and enquiries can also be forwarded to ******
