Automotive Parts Interpreter (Experienced or Trainee) - Local Motor Group Guaranteed wage + super + paid O/T + earn bonuses Local Motor Group (LMG) is an innovative and rapidly expanding business which sells and services quality new, demo and used vehicles. Our vehicle sales and service departments are well supported by a competitive, centralised parts and accessory department which supplies the general community and those retail and trade customers within our network with a large range of genuine and substitute automotive parts and accessories at competitive, affordable prices supported by quality customer service.To support ongoing growth in our business and the quality automotive brands we represent, we are looking to employ additional automotive parts team members, including an Experience Automotive Parts Interpreter and Trainee Parts Interpreter. Whilst automotive parts Interpreting and/or dealership experience would be highly regarded, we recruit for attitude as well as aptitude. So whilst ideally looking for an experienced interpreter, we're also willing to train and teach the right candidate(s) the skills required for the role in a trainee capacity.For the trainee role, this is a wonderful opportunity to get paid while you learn on the job and complete a nationally recognised qualification, paid for by the business.ABOUT THE ROLE:Operating a very busy state-wide automotive operation, these exciting full-time, Monday to Friday positions (38 hours per week) provide an opportunity to combine an interest in automotive, information systems and customer service.As parts counter roles, as a member of a small parts customer service team based at our Kings Meadows Dealerships, these positions provide an important point of contact with our valued retail and trade customers, as well internal customer service. KEY TASKS:Professionally and efficiently manage in and outbound parts enquiriesProvide accurate advice and guidance on parts and accessoriesRespond to retail and trade customers to identify their exact needs and recommend appropriate parts, ensuring timely communication and a high level of customer serviceAccurately identify the vehicle make, model and variations to determine the correct parts and accessories to supply customers in a timely mannerConsult electronic catalogues to source/identify parts and componentsProcure parts form internal and external suppliers to fulfill orders and quote and invoice accordingly in an accurate and timely mannerAccurately enter and update customer and supplier information in the Dealer Management System (DMS)Participate in stock take functions as requiredABOUT YOU (able to demonstrate the following or a keen desire to learn these skills):Highly effective communicator who enjoys providing quality customer serviceStrong administration & computing skills, including a high attention to detail and data accuracy and integrityCustomer focused and committed to providing customer satisfactionExcellent sales skills with proven results in achieving targetsAble to maintain a high level of professionalism when working under pressure and capable of appropriately managing customer enquiriesHave a current Tasmanian Driver's LicenceFor more information about the Group, including our Dealership sites and the quality brands we represent, please visit www.localmotorgroup.com.au____________________________________________PLEASE NOTE:We conduct background reference checksApplicants who do not have the required skills and/or experience will not be considered/shortlistedApplicants must be physically in Australia and must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold a permanent residency VisaWe are an equal opportunity employer, supporting gender equality, and workplace diversityPlease note, we reserve the right to proceed to appointment as soon as a suitable candidate had been identified.
