About the roleOur client, one of the most successful franchises, is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join their incredible team in Cairns, working 7:30am-4pm Monday to Friday with overtime 1 Saturday per month 8am-12pm.
Responsibilities Diagnosing mechanical issues through tests and inspectionsRepairing and replacing faulty components such as engines, transmissions, and brakesUndertaking routine servicing including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checksPerforming road safety inspections and quality assurance checksAdhering to safety protocolsMaintaining a clean and organized workshop, ensuring a safe and efficient work environmentRequirements Demonstrated experience as a Light Vehicle MechanicCertificate 3 in Light Vehicle AutomotiveValid Australian driver's licence and own tools mandatoryExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenHigh standards in customer service and customer careCapacity to problem-solve issues and find suitable solutionsDesire to maintain a proactive, safe working environmentAttention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanshipA can-do, team-oriented attitudeHow to apply: Please apply by submitting your resume (in Word format) via the "Apply Now" tab to be considered for the role.
