Responsibilities: Daily Workshop Operations: Assist in various tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our workshop.
Accurate Vehicle Diagnosis: Utilise your expertise to accurately diagnose issues with vehicles, enabling prompt and effective repairs.
Repair and Maintenance: Perform both minor and major repairs, servicing, and maintenance work on vehicles, including engines and transmissions as necessary.
Timely Execution: Complete repairs and tasks in a timely manner, prioritizing efficiency without compromising quality.
Apprentice Training: Share your knowledge and expertise by assisting in the training and guidance of apprentices, helping to develop the next generation of automotive professionals.
Warranty Repairs: Ensure warranty repairs are carried out correctly and in adherence to manufacturer workshop manuals, maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles before customer collection, ensuring they are in optimal condition and meet safety standards.
Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, addressing their concerns and keeping them informed about the status of their vehicles.
What We are Searching For: Qualifications and Experience: Hold a Light Vehicle Mechanic Qualification and possess relevant experience in the automotive industry. Automotive air-conditioning licence preferred.
Brand Experience: While European vehicle model experience is preferred, we also welcome candidates with experience working with other automotive brands, especially those with expertise in Landrover and/or Mercedes brands.
Commitment and Focus: Demonstrate a high level of personal commitment and focus, consistently striving for excellence in your work.
Teamwork and Autonomy: Work well both within a team environment and autonomously, collaborating effectively with colleagues while also demonstrating initiative and independence.
Drivers License: Hold a current and valid manual drivers license, enabling you to carry out driving-related tasks as required.

Additional: Tool Allowance Bonus: In addition to your base salary, two yearly tool allowances are available.
