As an Automatic Door Technician at Lee the Leccy, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of automatic doors in commercial and residential properties throughout the Bundaberg QLD 4670 region. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of automatic door systems, contributing to the overall customer satisfaction and success of the business.
What you'll be doing
Conducting scheduled maintenance and inspections of automatic door systems Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with automatic door mechanisms, sensors, and related components Performing repairs and replacements of faulty or worn-out parts to restore the proper functioning of automatic doors Installing new automatic door systems in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to service requests and communicating with clients throughout the process Maintaining detailed records of all work performed and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and regulatory guidelines Collaborating with the team to optimise processes and implement continuous improvements What we're looking for
Relevant qualifications or training in electrical, mechanical, or door/access control systems Minimum 2 years of experience as an Automatic Door Technician or in a similar role Strong technical skills and ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with automatic door systems Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation What we offer
