Autocad Designer

Our client, the largest local government in Australia, is responsible for the entire roadwork infrastructure of Queensland and beyond. Within this role you will be a part of an innovative team of Designers paving the future!
Queensland continues to be an expanding international city and is thus requiring the specialist skills of an Experienced Designer (Road Design) using AutoCAD.
Role Responsibilities: Lead and role model customer focus behaviour by encouraging innovation and knowledge sharing.Work in partnership with your team leader to agreed performance standards and mutual expectations. Give and receive regular feedback to enable performance to be improved and take personal responsibility for optimising your potential.Prepare design and documentation for transport infrastructure projects to agreed quality, time and budget in partnership with the Design Manager.Apply relevant design guidelines and legislation requirements to ensure work complies with community standards, meets legal obligations, and is consistent with Council policies.Conduct site inspections to obtain field measurements and make relevant observations to advise customers on technical matters.Manage personal time, priorities and workload to ensure work is completed on time as agreed with supervisor.To be considered for the role, click the 'apply' button.
