About The Role:
Ready to elevate your career? Compare the Market is looking for a strategic and dynamic Head of Operations – Car and Home Insurance to lead these General Insurance products in the Commercial Division.
In this critical Senior Leadership role, you'll oversee and support Operational Performance, P&L, Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Customer, Call Centre, and Strategic Planning, driving the success of our Car and Home Insurance businesses. Collaborating with stakeholders, you'll be both customer and commercially minded focused on delivering the optimal digital and call experience for Compare the Market customers.
As a key leader, you'll streamline processes, champion growth opportunities, and inspire teams to align with our vision for success.
What You'll Do:
Define the strategic direction for our insurance products, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and market trends. Monitor and manage operational performance trends to best manage and improve the operations performance. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive initiatives, resolve technical challenges, and provide updates to the Board and Senior Management. Build strong partnerships to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction, delivering solutions tailored to partner needs and business challenges. Work closely with partners to streamline call centre operations, ensuring efficiency and a superior customer experience. Manage daily operations and financial outcomes, including P&L, cost margins, and compliance, to consistently meet performance targets. Partner with the compliance team to refine processes and address compliance issues effectively. Collaborate with marketing teams to increase lead volumes, optimise customer segmentation, and support growth strategies. Leverage data and insights to track campaign performance and guide strategic decision-making. Lead and develop a cross functional team and stakeholders, fostering innovation, high performance, and a strong alignment with Compare the Market's values. Embody the company's values, contributing to a positive culture and reinforcing the brand by inspiring teams and individuals. What You'll Bring:
Proven experience in a Senior Leadership role. Comprehensive knowledge of the General Insurance industry. A background in Digital B2C businesses with a demonstrated record of success. A track record of creating and executing strategic plans that drive positive business outcomes. Exceptional leadership abilities, with a talent for influencing and motivating others to deliver results. Excellent communication skills, enabling effective engagement at all organisational levels. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. A passion for thriving in a dynamic, high-growth environment. Our Benefits
