The Role:Based at Carrington Rail Facility, we have positions vacant for experienced Auto Electricians to work on interesting and diverse projects. The work is varied and could include new builds or maintenance and repairs for a range of customers. This role will involve:
Following manufacturing drawings to complete electrical fit outs, including harness rough in, termination, fit out programming and electrical approval.Assisting in a team to test and verify all electrical operations of vehicles.Assisting in implementing and verifying appropriate improvements to electrical systems.Fault finding electrical problems on vehicles with and without electrical diagrams.Fitting electrical components to vehicles.Minimum Requirements:To be considered for this role you will have:
Experience in Auto Electrical, including repair techniques, circuit diagram reading, vehicle on-board electronic systems and fault finding.The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and follow instructions and work procedures.PLC and Control System Experience desirable but not essential.The ability to work independently and as part of a team.Demonstrated high quality of workmanship and attention to detail.Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks – lifting, bending, twisting.Successfully complete a pre-placement medical including D&A testing.Why Us:At Varley, our thirst for innovation will continue to shape our future, and we are looking for employees that want to help us continue on this journey.
