The Role Due to recently awarded long haul fibre projects with some of Australia's biggest Telecommunications carriers, we have a new position for a Design Project Engineer to join the ICF Design team, reporting to the Design Manager, based in Sydney. You will oversee and manage all aspects of design, ensuring all design works are completed to the expected level of quality, within budget, and on schedule. Responsibilities include: Route planning Liaising with Design Partners and Planners to ensure compliance to client requirements Manage Design Partner schedule to ensure on-time delivery Seeking and obtaining client clarification or approvals Manage and implement IFDVs Design and create plans using Auto CAD Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, and coordinate all activities, from planning to closeout. Perform detailed quality audits and checks to ensure work meets standards across all aspects of the Design including:BOMBOQ External cable route Civils Exchange and Exchange Diversity SLDs DBo Rs Design Reports Land access impacts and requirements Identify and mitigate risks and issues, communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders.
