THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for an Auto Electrician to join our Cairns head office and production facility. As part of the highly skilled team, you will be responsible for fitting out canopies with industry leading 12v lithium systems from both Redarc and Enerdrive along with supporting the fitting teams with electrical support. You will maintain a high level of safety, reliability and operational performance and ensure customer satisfaction and value for money on all jobs. The role will involve working with new products on high-end vehicle builds. The workshop is organised and clean with the added benefit of having air-conditioned pre-wiring bays. Here is your chance to enjoy a full-time role with every Friday off!
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing varied accessory and auto electrical installs Ensuring the health and safety of all customers, visitors and team members Undertaking activities in a team environment and meeting safety and production targets Identifying, assessing and controlling workplace hazards Supporting and/or leading Auto Electrical apprentices Maintaining workplace cleanliness and tool care Assisting in development of new wiring systems and wiring looms WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate will have:
Relevant Trade Qualification as an Auto Electrician Previous experience in 12v (essential) Excellent quality of work and time management skills Strong, ongoing commitment to workplace health & safety Well-developed written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-skilled team environment Australian Manual Drivers Licence Passion for the outdoors, off-roading and camping is a plus!
