About this exciting opportunity
In the role of Senior People Relations Advisor, you will provide high quality employee relations expertise in industrial relations, policy development and performance.
As an experienced HR professional, you will work in a complex and diverse operating environment to develop and enhance employee-related policies and procedures and oversee the provision of high-level advice and interpretation of employee and industrial relations, and legislation.
You will take a lead role in managing complex and sensitive employee relations issues and investigations, including advice on the resolution of complex matters, in consultation with the People and Culture Manager.
About you
Underpinning your suitability for this position will be your tertiary qualification/s in Human Resources Management or a related discipline, with extensive experience in a similar role.
You will also be able to demonstrate your:
Experience in managing complex employee and industrial relations matters, including conducting workplace investigations and performance management processes; Understanding of, and ability to apply and advise on, IR legislation, policies, and procedures; Strong communication, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy and demanding environment to meet established deadlines.

AIMS AOF Level 5 salary ($117,806 to $129,148 per annum) plus 15.4% superannuation Full-time, 12-month Temporary (Labour hire) opportunity Located in Townsville (Qld) 9-day fortnight, enjoy a long weekend each fortnight Flexible Work Arrangements considered including hybrid working (where suitable) Generous and supportive leave entitlements Access to Commuter car fleet arrangements to travel to site (in Townsville only) Non-Australian Citizens must hold an appropriate Visa with working entitlements that allows paid employment with AIMS from commencement and for the full term of the appointment, depending on the relevant Department of Home Affairs current policies.
