About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient individual to join our Engineering team.
Your main responsibility is to support the Engineering & Production teams through product design, resolving technical issues, leading QA processes and improving product design & documentation enabling the timely and efficient manufacturing of our products and projects.
You will play a key role in the design and development of both new and existing products.

Physical attendance at our Ballarat facility is required, as well as other occasional travel.

The Role
Full-time, located in Ballarat, Victoria.
Production Support – Provide engineering support to production teams.
Product Design & Engineering.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Coordinate with Engineering, Management and Production teams on a daily basis.
Production QA - Lead QA process through inspection, investigation and reporting.
Record issues, non-conformances, feedback and improvements.
Improvement Engineering – Design & revise engineering CAD models & drawings.
Maintain engineering and production related documentation, such as procedures, work methods, costing and Bills of Materials.
Support and liaise with the management team on various tasks/projects.
Inspect, test and report on equipment in the field.
Creating and updating spare parts and operator's manuals.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or similar.
Relevant experience within the manufacturing industry or production environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Systems.
3D CAD Experience.
Experience using Solidworks preferred but not essential.
Knowledge and design experience with steel fabrication & machining, industrial electrical & hydraulic systems preferred.
