About Austin Radiology:
Austin Health Radiology Department provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional services and operates at Austin Hospital, Repatriation Hospital and Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre. The Radiology Department employs approximately 250 staff members over a variety of different disciplines.
The Austin Campus provides an extensive range of services to inpatients, ED and some Outpatient clinics. The range of services includes General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Mobile and Theatre, Angiography and Interventional procedures.
The Repatriation Campus provides radiology services to large volume Outpatient clinics, externally referred patients (from both GPs and Specialist services) and some inpatients. The range of services includes General X-ray, Ultrasound, Mammography, CT, Fluoroscopy, Mobiles and Theatre.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator (HS3 – $37.68-$41.65 per hour) to join our Radiology Department.
A part-time, 25-hour-a-week permanent position is available. Working hours are between 08:00-13:30 Monday to Friday.
A regular day will see you supporting the medical director and team by:
Create, maintain and adjust weekly medical rosters and leave planners Administer and manage medical payroll processes and reporting Manage and maintain staff details with regards to credentialing and accreditation, and liaise with regulatory bodies Provide support to the Medical Director, and the Medical Team as needed Follow organisational safety, quality and risk policies and guidelines Problem solve, prioritise work and build effective relationships The position is within the Austin Campus Radiology Department, Lance Townsend building, but may involve cross campus travel and rostering. The position works in close collaboration with the Executive Assistant to the Radiology/MIT Directors with elements of reciprocal leave coverage duties.
