Key Responsibilities Develop audit plans and scopes, aligning with Australian Auditing Standards (ASA) and the specific industry requirements of each client. Conduct risk assessments to identify key areas for focus and ensure audit procedures address potential risks effectively. Analyze financial statements and transactions to ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB), Australian Taxation Office (ATO) guidelines, and other regulatory requirements. Identify, assess, and document control deficiencies, recommending practical solutions to strengthen clients' control environments. Prepare audit reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommended improvements to internal controls and financial reporting processes. Assess operational risks and recommend risk mitigation strategies that align with clients' risk appetites and business strategies. Evaluate the effectiveness of clients' internal control systems, suggesting improvements that help prevent financial and operational risks. Lead multiple audit engagements, managing team members and ensuring quality outcomes. Train, mentor, and guide junior staff to uphold Auditeo's high standards. Qualifications and Experience Essential:
Relevant Bachelor's degree. 2 years of relevant work experience. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Knowledge of the Corporations Act and Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards. Desirable:
CA (or equivalent) qualification in progress or recently completed. Salary $74,000 to $78,000 (plus Super).
