Job DescriptionThe NT Remote Locum Program is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led remote health workforce program. We work to strengthen and uplift existing health services in the NT to provide quality healthcare to their communities.

We are looking for skilled and experienced Audiologist to work as part of a holistic community health service team. You will be supported by highly experienced Aboriginal health practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, drivers, and administration staff. The team's remote knowledge will assist and guide you to provide culturally safe primary healthcare.

Essential experience and qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years full-time postgraduate clinical experience in a relevant clinical setting.Minimum of 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as an Audiologist within the past 12 months, as indicated with a statement of service or pay slips that clearly indicates a role or statement of explanation explaining lapse in employment.Evidence of current Audiology Australia Accredited Audiologist Certificate.Current membership with Audiology Australia.Current CPR/BLS Certificate – practical & theoretical in the past 12 months.What's in it for you?

As an urban-based Registered Nurse, you already have the skills to work in a remote community. However, the health issues you work with in remote communities might be different from those in urban and rural areas. You can expect to expand your skills and knowledge, and we provide plenty of resources to support your new experiences, including the NT Remote Locum Program eLearning program.
