RoleAn education support class position at this range will perform tasks that are carried out in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice, and school policy under supervision and direction. This may include coordination of other education support class staff within the work area or educational program.
ResponsibilitiesThe Attendance and Sub School Administration Officer supports students and staff by supporting the operations of either the middle or senior sub-schools. Key responsibilities include:
Support and implement UHS attendance processes including monitoring and following up on student attendance using Compass Attendance reports.Provide routine clerical or other administrative support responsibilities including general telephone, supporting organisation of meetings, receiving and initial processing of standard paperwork.Support the organisation and planning of events such as Camps, Assemblies, Year level incursions etc.Liaison with families and the Enrolment Officer to ensure accurate student entrance and exit processes are completed.Attend professional development and training required by the school.Maintain appropriate confidentiality in relation to student, parent/carer and staff matters.Other duties as required by Principal & Business Manager, in line with role classification.Who May ApplyIndividuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.
