The Role: The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is an experienced nurse who, within the defined area of practice:
Works in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and other senior staff, to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care based on best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework. Assists the NUM with the planning and management of staff and resources and provides operational leadership through the coordination of the day-to-day patient care activities, including patient flow. As an ANUM in community nursing, you'll be working across the following sites: Central Highlands (Ouse), New Norfolk, and Midlands (Oatlands), providing clients with care in either home or clinic settings.
Enjoy the country atmosphere, working in a rural area. Work with a caring team. Utilise and learn a diverse clinical skill set. Details of appointment: Fixed term, part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 40 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of approximately twelve (12) months.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $103,466 - $109,165 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023. You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Professional Development Allowance of up to $500 per annum. Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type. Benefit available to eligible candidates: Professional development and accelerated pathways. Excellent leave benefits: 20 days annual leave (pro rata), 20 days personal leave (pro rata), and study assistance leave if eligible. Fitness Passport – You, and your family can access 40+ fitness facilities across Tasmania for just $13.95 per week per person, or $25.95 for a family. Eligibility: Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse. Current Working with vulnerable people Registration NDIS endorsed. Current driver's License.
