Associate - Trade Confirmation Operations Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Sydney, AustraliaDo Work That Matters. CommBank's Confirmations Operations team is looking for an Associate to join this high-performing function, operating within our Market Operations business and focused on providing operational support to our Global Markets, Commodity, and Treasury trading desks.
Sitting within our Chief Operating Office (COO), our Market Operations business is a team of 400 Operations Professionals who support our Global Lending, Markets, CommSec, Trade Finance, Treasury, and Payments businesses globally.
The Role. As a Confirmations Associate, you will prepare and follow up Confirmations for Financial Market Products including Interest Rate Derivatives, FX products, Credit Derivatives, and Commodities/Precious Metals transactions in accordance with Bank policy and current ISDA standards.
You will collaborate with your confirmation team members and our front-office stakeholders to ensure our customers and clients receive their trade confirmations on-time and to the highest quality level. To do this, you will also be required to deliver trade reporting in accordance with Bank policy & global market standards.
You will also uphold outstanding customer service relating to the confirmations function, responding accurately to queries and questions from our stakeholders.
On any given day you will: Process ISDA confirmation on trades capturedWork across multiple global market products including Derivatives, FX, and Commodities.Collaborate with your team and stakeholders internally to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of the functionImprove productivity through reviewing policy, process, and proceduresWe're interested in hearing from people who have: You will have some global markets knowledge across various asset classes, preferably from an operations or middle/back office environment and will be comfortable working autonomously. You will have some understanding of the trade confirmations life-cycle and will be skilled at creating and maintaining strong working partnerships with your colleagues and stakeholders.
You will also have:
