Associate/Senior Associate - Restructuring & Insolvency Save job Our client is seeking an experienced and empathetic Associate/Senior Associate to join their esteemed R&I team. This role offers the opportunity to provide dispute resolution, restructuring, and insolvency expertise to a diverse range of clients including major lenders, banks, Indigenous organisations, and various Not for Profit and arts organisations. The successful candidate will be part of a team that values community engagement and pro-bono work, making a real difference in society.What you'll do:As an Associate/Senior Associate in Insolvency Law, your role will be multifaceted. You will be providing expert advice on dispute resolution, restructuring, and insolvency matters to a diverse clientele. Your excellent stakeholder engagement skills will be put to good use as you navigate complex transactions and instructions. Your experience in loan enforcement for lenders or creditors will be invaluable, as will your ability to handle advocacy and commercial litigation autonomously. Your strong writing skills will shine through in your document drafting and advice writing.What you bring:The ideal candidate for this Associate/Senior Associate position brings a wealth of experience in restructuring and insolvency law. With at least 5 years' post-qualification experience under your belt, you are well-versed in loan enforcement for lenders or creditors. Your background includes advocacy and commercial litigation in high-level courts such as the Supreme Court of NSW or the Federal Court of Australia. Your strong writing skills are evident in your advice writing and document drafting abilities.
