About the role An opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associateto join our Commonwealth Government team in our busy Sydney office.The team acts for a broad range of clients, including forCommonwealth Departments and Agencies primarily in Public Lawlitigation. The matters span across Commonwealth employeecompensation, military compensation & veterans' entitlements,and disability insurance access and planning matters under theNDIS. Working under the guidance of a distinguished Partner as partof a friendly and collegiate team, this position will see youprimarily engaged in the day to day conduct of litigated matters inthe Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
The work requires attention to detail, practical problem solvingskills and strategic thinking. If you're looking for a role inwhich you can develop your existing skills in a supportive andfriendly environment, this role is the perfect opportunity.
About you While general litigation experience will be highly regarded, itis your passion and enthusiasm for the law, and your genuineinterest in developing in the Public Law space, that will see yoube successful in this role. Your strong written and verbalcommunication skills, sound judgment and importantly, yourcommitment to excellent client service, will be of mostimportance.
