Associate/Senior Associate - Credit Analyst - Financial Institutions
Salary: Competitive and based on experience

Location: Sydney

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate/Senior Associate to join their dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in supporting the credit analysis and ongoing monitoring/management of clients within the financial institutions space. The successful candidate will play an integral part in achieving the Bank's risk & return targets through putting together credit papers and credit monitoring in accordance with internal procedures. What you'll do:

As an Associate/Senior Associate, your role will be multifaceted. You will be responsible for doing the credit analysis, writing the credit papers, managing customer requests, preparing client presentations, and ensuring compliance with internal processes. Your excellent analytical skills will be crucial in conducting credit papers and monitoring. You will also play a key role in supporting Relationship Managers and Portfolio Leads to manage credit proposals for new transactions. This role offers a unique blend of strategic thinking, collaboration, and hands-on experience.

Your broad understanding of the Australian industry, business, and economy will be invaluable as you navigate through various tasks. Your strong financial analysis acumen will be crucial in assessing large sets of data, making expert judgments, and identifying key risks. Furthermore, your ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing will ensure smooth operations within the team.

Solid mathematical knowledge, Excel spreadsheet skills, research & analytical skillsBroad Australian industry, business and economic understanding2-4 years experience working within frontoffice banking focusing on Financial Institutions.Strong financial analysis acumenAbility to communicate clearly both in writing and verballyIntermediate skills in credit writing, financial analysis and modelling, legal documentation and debt structuringStrong interpersonal and presentation skills
