For more information, please visit our website: www.sharpeandabel.com About the Opportunity Sharpe & Abel is looking for a full-time Associate or Senior Associate - Corporate Commercial Lawyer who can be based either in our Melbourne office or enjoy the flexibility to work from anywhere globally.
As an Associate or Senior Associate, you'll be more than just a lawyer—you'll be a trusted advisor who understands the intricate details of our clients' businesses and crafts legal solutions that truly serve their best interests. Reporting to the Managing Associate, you'll manage a diverse caseload of corporate commercial matters, ensuring that each client's unique needs are met with precision and care.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing legal advice on corporate commercial matters with a deep client-centric focus Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts that safeguard client interests Conducting thorough legal research and offering clear, actionable advice Building and maintaining strong client relationships as their primary legal contact Collaborating closely with colleagues to deliver comprehensive legal solutions Staying informed on legal developments and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations About You To be considered for this role, you need a strong LLB or Juris Doctor from a Commonwealth country and at least three years of experience in corporate commercial law. You will need admission to practice in at least one Commonwealth jurisdiction and bring a genuine curiosity and eagerness to learn. We welcome candidates who actively strive to deliver top-notch legal services, regardless of their level of experience.
