Associate, Product Specialist - Global Product Solutions About this role
The Global Product Solutions (GPS) Product Specialist will focus on the continued delivery of best-in-class product solutions to Australian investors, with a particular focus on the continued improvement and evolution of our managed funds range. As a subject matter expert on product structures, attributes, and operations, the specialist will address inquiries and collaborate with the broader business to implement modifications. The role involves close partnership with the APAC product team and coordination with multiple internal departments such as Legal & Compliance, Client Business, Marketing, Operations, Portfolio Management, and Technology. The specialist will also engage with key external stakeholders to ensure the alignment and success of our product offerings.
Key Responsibilities: Fund compliance/operational oversight including:Implementation and oversight of certain regulatory reporting requirementsMonitoring and reviewing fund attributes such as buy-sell spreadsProduct specific updates to fund documentationManagement of the fund registration processProduct procedure enhancements and maintenance of internal fund data/attributesResolve product queries working with Portfolio Management, Investment Risk and ComplianceImplementation of fund changes including benchmark changes and fund structure/operational changesMaintenance of product committees and internal reporting to senior managementManagement of fund data distributed to external vendorsOversight of the product information on our website and factsheets including the implementation of enhancements, periodic reviews and troubleshooting issues with stakeholders.Manage ad-hoc queries and projects relating to registered products in the region. Key Requirements: A minimum of 3 years relevant financial services experienceTertiary qualifications in a related disciplineExcellent attention to detailDemonstrates a high level of initiative and ability to work under pressure and be comfortable taking primary responsibility for deliverables assignedAdvanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) skills; Experience with Bloomberg and Morningstar is highly regardedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to distill complex investment concepts for various audiencesSolid understanding of the Australian funds management landscape and common investment vehiclesBasic programming skills in VBA or Python is an advantage Our benefits
