The successful applicant will directly report to the Executive Producer and will assist in leading a variety of productions from go to wo!Key ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Executive Producer, key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist and manage the day-to-day operations of the production.Assist as the main liaison between the creative team (International and Local) for the production.Assist the management and the co-ordination of all production related departments including but not limited tocreative, finance, technical,companymanagement, casting, publicity, marketing, and ticketing.Liaise with the technical director/production manager to ensure all technical aspects of the production are being managed including but not limited to, scheduling, budgeting, staffing contractors and employees, set/props/costume/lighting/sound/video & projection builds or refurbishment, venue liaison, bump-in,pre-production management, in season management, production moves, tour logistics, the hiring of staff, documentation, WHS implementation, production closure.In collaboration with the Executive Producer, appoint creative associates, performers, musicians,pre-production staff, resident creatives, company management, touring and local crew and associated contractors.In collaboration with the Executive Producer, negotiate, manage and write contracts for key production suppliers and partners.Assist in the management and the contracting of the production's employees and contractors including negotiation of fees as per the agreed budget.Collaborate with the Executive Producer, Technical Director, company management and resident creative team on all employee and contractor related matters.Assist with the creation where necessary and maintenance of the production timeline/critical pathand the performance schedule.Assist and facilitate production meetings/calls.Coordinate marketing, publicity and promotional events with key staff including the execution and management of those events when required.Ensure thorough archiving of all commercial information such as production bibles, marketing bibles, sales analysis and general management reports and documentation.Be responsible for all international and local travel for contractors, suppliers, and key personnel. This would include facilitating Visa's for international team members and working with company management on any travel needs for the touring company.Assist and coordinate all elements of casting and running auditions as required.Any other duties as may be required by the CEO, Head of Production and Executive Producer.Successful Applicants will have3 years of experience in a leadership role in the industry.Fierce attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.A desire to be part of a small close team andthrive inthat environment.Excellent negotiating and communication skills.A working knowledge of local awards including the Performers Collective Agreement.Efficient and effective time management and delegation abilities.A track record of being great to work with.A desire to be part of a small close team andthrive inthat environment.Job Status: Full time including work on weekends and public holidays when required.
