Be an active contributor for your team and engage with clients while you gain experience About the business/role As an Assoicate the role is focused on providing ongoing client service and high-quality support to Financial Advisers and Partners withing Perpetual Wealth Management.
Perpetual Group is an ASX-listed company (ASX:PPT) headquartered in Sydney, Australia, currently consisting of 11 leading brands across three distinct businesses: Asset Management, Wealth Management and Corporate Trust.
Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review in May 2024, it was announced that Perpetual Limited will become a standalone Asset Management business, and has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) who will acquire the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.
The wealth management business consists of three distinct brands in addition to Perpetual Private – Fordham, Jacaranda financial planning and Priority Life – offering a unique mix of wealth management, advice and trustee services. With a diverse range of capabilities including strategic advice on superannuation and retirement planning, general investment, asset protection, insurance, tax management, estate planning, aged care, social security, succession planning and philanthropy. Our clients include individuals, families, businesses, not-for-profit organisations and Indigenous communities throughout Australia.
About the role Attend and actively participate in client meetings to support the Financial Advisers in the provision of a highly personal and compelling client experienceArrange & coordinate documentation for client meetingsOversee the preparation of annual review and new business plans including development of draft strategies, financial modelling, completion of fact find data and other inputs needed to complete advice instructionsManage workflow to deliver to client needs. Maintain an understanding of operational processes for other teams including para-planning and operationsContribute to effective risk and compliance management through ensuring appropriate measures, controls and activities are taken to fulfill corporate and regulatory complianceAbout you Minimum 2-3 years' experience in paraplanning or related financial services experienceExperience with Xplan desirableExperience in a client facing roleWorking knowledge of investments & advice strategies including, superannuation consolidation, retirement, personal insurance, structures, taxation, income streams & cash flow modelling.Working knowledge of estate planning, philanthropy, aged care & debt management strategies desirable Behaviours  Our unique culture is underpinned by our three organisational behaviours, Stretch, Own it, Make an impact.
