Your Role We are looking for an enthusiastic Associate or Senior Associate to join our Perth Environment & Planning team.
Working directly with partner Nada Raphael, your varied role will encompass all aspects of environment and planning law across many sectors, including energy and resources, property development, infrastructure, waste and agribusiness.
With Nada's guidance and support, you will also be given the opportunity to work with Minter Ellison's government clients and to develop your knowledge and expertise in administrative law.
You will be exposed to a variety of work, including: General advice on the interpretation of environment and planning legislation and public law; Strategic advice, including project approval requirements and processes, for complex infrastructure projects, energy and resource projects and major urban developments; Contamination and pollution issues; Environmental compliance and appeals; Due diligence for various transactions; Land compensation claims; The management of disputes in the State Administrative Tribunal and Supreme Court of WA; and Aboriginal heritage and Native Title.
