Waranga Health, located in Rushworth, is a 36-bed aged-care facility, inclusive of a four-bed acute care unit, a district nursing service, outpatient ambulatory consulting services and a dedicated palliative care suite and respite bed. Care and treatment are provided 24 hours a day by a talented multidisciplinary team across a range of medical, nursing and allied health services.
About the role: The Associate Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for the coordination and delegation of staff and resources to ensure the delivery of quality patient focused care at Waranga Health Acute/Aged Care Department. The Associate Nurse Unit Manager accepts the responsibility of clinical and corporate coordination of the unit in the absence of the Nurse Unit Manager.
We are looking for: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) as a Registered Nurse.Postgraduate qualification or intention to undertake postgraduate study.Minimum 5 years post graduate nursing experience.Demonstrated expert clinical leadership, experience and knowledge related to health care.Self motivated with high level of communication and organisational and time management skills.Working knowledge of patient management and information systems.If qualifications are a requirement for this position, please attach a copy in support of your application.
