About the role South West Healthcare's Medical Unit is seeking a motivated, highly skilled, and experienced Registered Nurse to provide day-to-day leadership and management of the Medical Unit team in the position of Associate Nurse Unit Manager.
The unit provides care to acute medical and palliative care inpatients.
This is an exciting opportunity to support in leading a team while maintaining a positive and professional working environment and delivering high-quality care to patients and their families.
This role will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager in the promotion and maintenance of clinical standards, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care, strategic and effective cost management, supervision of staff, and contribute to the overall management of the unit.
This role is a permanent part-time position (40 hours per fortnight).
What you bring The successful applicant will hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and will have relevant experience and completed post-graduate qualifications. Demonstrated excellent clinical assessment skills, along with the ability to perform and communicate on all levels. Evidence of commitment to professional development of self and others is desirable.
