Working closely with the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager, you'll contribute to both clinical management and the ongoing education and professional development of staff, ensuring continuous improvement and safe delivery of care.

Key responsibilities include: Provide proficient, person-centred clinical care and/or case management to patients/clients.Oversee nursing/midwifery care within your team, ensuring care plans are followed and appropriate outcomes achieved.Assist in the coordination of multi-disciplinary services, including addressing immediate issues in patient care or service delivery.Support clinical teaching, including supervising student nurses and less experienced staff.
Essential Criteria Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post-registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.Competence in the relevant area of nursing practice according to appropriate standards.Experience supervising student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.Eligibility for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a current practising certificate.
