The Associate Midwife Unit Manager - Birth Suite is responsible for providing and coordinating all aspects of quality care for women presenting to the Birth Suite for assessment and birthing.
The Associate Midwife Unit Manager must be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills, sound clinical skills and work as an active team member.
The Associate Midwife Unit Manager accepts the responsibility of clinical coordination of the Birth Suite and deputies in the absence of the Maternity Services Manager.
We are looking for: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Nurse/MidwifeMinimum of 5 years' postgraduate Midwifery experienceCommitted to delivering care that is woman focused and family centeredDemonstrated expert clinical leadership, experience and knowledge related to maternity care in the health care sectorSelf-motivated with high level of communication, organisational and time management skillsSound problem-solving skillsWhy work at GV Health?
