This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work across a diverse range of legally challenging and factually complex matters in the insurance and government sectors including:Intentional torts.Public liability.Property damage.Coronial inquiries.This role presents a fantastic opportunity to progress your career within a team that is renowned for its collaborative culture, passion for client service and professional development opportunities.Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role you will have:A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and a current New South Wales practising certificate.Minimum 2 years' post admission experience in government litigation or general insurance matters.Confidence to deal directly with clients.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.Ability to communicate effectively with experts in multiple fields.High degree of initiative, dedication and organisation ability with a strong client and commercial focus.Ability to manage a busy workload and work to tight deadlines.A commercial approach and ability to articulate and negotiate effectively.A strong, plain language communication style.What We OfferIn return, McCabes will provide you with the opportunity to work with a talented team in a flexible, inclusive, and innovative environment.
