Associate Governance Officer

RAC Is seeking an Associate Governance Officer to support the Group Governance team in delivering high-quality governance services across the RAC corporate structure.
As an Associate Governance Officer , you will play a key role in supporting the preparation and administration of Council, Board, and committee meetings.
You'll assist with maintaining governance frameworks, statutory records, and help ensure compliance with RAC's governance standards.
Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing agendas and supporting documents for Council, Board, and committee meetings.
Draft minutes and Chair's Reports with guidance from senior staff.
Provide administrative support for governance meetings and follow up on action items.
Support the organisation of the Club's Annual General Meeting and Council Election processes.
Maintain governance policies, charters, and statutory records, including declarations of interest.
Respond to member enquiries regarding governance processes under supervision.
Qualifications and Experience Experience in administrative support roles, preferably within a corporate or governance environment.
Understanding of governance processes with a willingness to further develop in this area.
Tertiary qualification in a business, legal, or commercial discipline.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the organisation.
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
