The Role

In our Private Wealth Management Strategy team, you will work on impactful projects and help provide strategic advice to our clients in areas including:
Superannuation
Investment considerations
Aged care and social security
Wealth creation and preservation
Debt management and cash flow
Joining E&P Financial Group as an Associate in Canberra, you will receive mentorship directly from an experienced Strategy Adviser to service their clients in the provision of Strategic Financial Advice.

Your role will provide you with a solid foundation for career growth by developing your understanding of key financial principles and practical solutions for clients, including individuals, couples and families.
You will assist the team in delivering high levels of service associated with managing a private wealth client base.
A typical day may include:
Coordinate and review client information and prepare for client meetings.
Accompany the Strategy Advisor to client meetings.
Use modelling software to create retirement plans and forecasts.
Preparation of formal advice documents (i.e.
Statements of Advice).
Coordinate with other teams to help implement strategies recommended.
Liaise with and respond to client enquiries on behalf of the Strategy Advisor.
Maintain compliance procedures.
Assist with general client management tasks including scheduling meetings.
Assist with drafting strategy related articles and marketing materials (including presentations, website insights and media interviews).
About You
Key to your success in the role will be:
A relevant Bachelors' degree (Finance, Economics, Commerce or similar).
A strong interest in and/or prior experience in financial planning.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and sharp analytical ability.
Willingness to learn.
Technological savviness.
