An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced consultant to join our internationally recognised Environmental Assessment & Management, (EA&M) team based in Brisbane. The team delivers environmental impact assessments, environmental management services and approvals to multiple sectors across Australia. We work alongside specialist technical teams in SLR to deliver a complete environmental service to clients across a range of sectors.

You will have 8-12 years' experience in consulting, government or industry working to deliver environmental impact assessments and approvals.

The successful applicant will delivery large multidisciplinary projects in transport infrastructure, renewables, and mining. You will manage your own projects and will receive ongoing mentoring from industry experts.
  Key Responsibilities Responsibilities
As a member of the national EA&M team (70 + Consultants), you will support delivery of a range of infrastructure, renewables, and mining projects. You will be responsible for the following: Supporting the delivery of environmental impact assessments and approvals. Be an all-round key support person to large projects as well as take responsibility for your own projects. Delivering the best possible outcome for clients with a focus on quality Assist with preparing fee proposals Preparing high quality reports, and Preparing environmental approvals documentation. You will also possess the following skills: A professional qualification in environmental science or engineering or other relevant degree 8-12 years' experience at a professional level Experience delivering environmental impact assessments and approvals Demonstrated knowledge of environmental approvals in Australia is an advantage Demonstrated experience working in multidisciplinary project teams Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables on competing timeframes A clear, concise and professional writing style Adaptable, fast paced and self-motivated Good written and verbal communication skills Australia Citizenship or rights to work in Australia.
